Here's how to find out what you actually got — and why most certificates are built not to tell you.
Every supplier quotes purity. 99%. 99.3%. It sounds like the whole answer. It isn't even half of it.
Purity tells you what proportion of the peptide material is the target compound. It does not tell you how much peptide is in the vial. Those are two different measurements, and only one of them is usually printed.
A vial sold as 10 mg can be legitimately 99% pure and still contain 7.5 mg of peptide. The rest of the mass is residual water and the acetate counter-ion left over from purification. Nobody is lying. The document simply never answered the question you actually care about.
Purity — what share of the peptide-related material is the target compound.
Doesn't say how much you gotContent — the milligrams of peptide actually in the vial, measured by HPLC quantitation.
This is what you boughtAt $80 a vial, a 25% shortfall is $20 of every order spent on water and salt. Reordering every six weeks, that is a few hundred dollars a year for material that was never in the vial. And you would have no way of knowing, because the certificate showed you a purity figure and stopped.
If your last certificate showed a percentage and no milligram figure, you do not know what you bought. That is one of twelve things worth checking. The rest take about ninety seconds.
Score your current supplier →12 questions. Tick what your last certificate actually showed.Tick only what was printed on the document — not what the website promised. Be honest; the result is only useful if you are.
Most people score lower than they expect. That is the point of the exercise.
Scoring: 10–12 a supplier operating properly. 7–9 workable, but ask about the gaps before you spend again. Under 7 you are buying a claim, not a tested product.
Not a description of a certificate — the actual document, exactly as the laboratory issued it. Hold it next to whatever you just scored.
Test results, enlarged
Content: 10.31 mg — in a vial sold as 10 mg. Measured by HPLC quantitation, not estimated from the label. That is the number you went looking for at the start of this guide. It appears on every certificate we issue. This is one lot’s result — which is exactly why we send you the certificate for the lot you would actually receive.
Verification code, enlarged
Every certificate carries a code, QR or UID that you can check against the issuing laboratory's own records. A PDF can be edited by anyone. A document you can verify at the source cannot.
Everything below is checkable before you spend a dollar. That is the whole offer — and it is the one thing a supplier who is guessing cannot match.
None of those are opinions about ourselves. Every line is something you can check on the document before you spend anything — which is the only kind of claim worth making in this market.
Manufactured and packaged end to end in Southern California. Nothing about the material crosses a border. For buyers who weigh where their material comes from as heavily as what the certificate says about it.
Identical testing standard, identical certificate requirements, identical refund. The difference is production origin, not scrutiny.
Order, and when the vial arrives check the lot number against the certificate we sent you. If it doesn't match, or the panel isn't what we showed you — keep the vial and we'll refund you in full. We can offer that because we've read our own certificates. Ask any other supplier whether they'd do the same.
We use more than one independent testing laboratory, and their report formats differ — which is exactly why we would rather send you the certificate for your lot than describe it in the abstract.
You have just spent four minutes learning to read these documents. Every other supplier is about to ask you to trust them instead. Don’t — ask us for the certificate first, and use what you have learned on us.
Rather talk it through? Book a 15-minute sourcing call — two minutes of questions first so we can pull the right certificates, then you pick a time. No dosing guidance, protocols, or advice on personal use.
